上一堂學會了基本句型，但學測不會只考「越來越…」那種送分題。
學測進階題的特徵：一句中文塞了 2-3 個句型，還要倒裝、還要分詞構句。例如：「要不是有你的幫忙，我不可能完成這個專案。」
這句要同時用到假設語氣 + 雙重否定。這種題目，拆開來你每個字都會，但合在一起就當機。這堂課教你拆解 combo 句型。

Hint: 假設語氣 + 雙重否定

🔍 拆解：「要不是」→ If it weren't for / Without。「不可能」→ wouldn't have been able to / could never have。
✅ 譯法 A：If it weren't for your support, I wouldn't have been able to come this far.
✅ 譯法 B：Without your support, I could never have come this far.
🔑 關鍵：與現在相反的假設（你一直都支持我）→ if it weren't for（不是 wasn't！）
❷ 直到親眼看到那片星空，我才明白大自然有多美。

🔍 拆解：「直到…才」→ Not until… 倒裝，或 It was not until…that…。
✅ 譯法 A（倒裝）：Not until I saw the starry sky with my own eyes did I realize how beautiful nature is.
✅ 譯法 B（強調句）：It was not until I saw the starry sky with my own eyes that I realized how beautiful nature is.
🔑 關鍵：Not until 放句首，主句要倒裝（did I realize）。that 後面不倒裝！
❸ 這款遊戲一推出就大受歡迎，導致伺服器連續當機三天。

🔍 拆解：「一…就…」→ as soon as / upon + V-ing。「導致」→ causing / leading to。
✅ 譯法 A：As soon as the game was released, it became a huge hit, causing the servers to crash for three consecutive days.
✅ 譯法 B：The game became extremely popular upon its release, which led to the servers crashing for three days straight.
🔑 關鍵：分詞構句 causing 的主詞是前面整件事（it became a huge hit）。
❹ 就是因為他堅持不放棄，最後才成功說服了投資人。
Hint: 分裂句（It is…that…）強調原因

🔍 拆解：「就是因為…」→ It was because…that…（分裂句強調原因）。「堅持不放棄」→ persisted and never gave up。
✅ 譯法 A：It was because he persisted and never gave up that he finally succeeded in persuading the investors.
✅ 譯法 B：His persistence was what eventually convinced the investors.
🔑 關鍵：It is/was…that… 可以強調主詞/受詞/副詞/子句，是學測最愛考的強調句型。
❺ 如果當初我聽了他的建議，現在就不會這麼後悔了。
Hint: 與過去事實相反的假設（混合時間）

🔍 拆解：「如果當初」→ If I had Vpp（過去）；「現在就不會」→ I wouldn't V（現在）。這是混合假設！
✅ 譯法 A：If I had taken his advice back then, I wouldn't regret it so much now.
✅ 譯法 B：Had I listened to his suggestion at that time, I wouldn't be feeling so regretful now.
🔑 關鍵：混合時間假設 — if 子句用過去完成（had taken），主要子句用現在式（wouldn't regret）。翻譯時最容易被忽略的陷阱！
❻ 再怎麼強調團隊合作的重要性也不為過。
Hint: cannot…too… 句型

🔍 拆解：「再怎麼…也不為過」→ cannot + V + too + Adj / cannot overemphasize…。
✅ 譯法 A：The importance of teamwork cannot be overemphasized.
✅ 譯法 B：We cannot emphasize the importance of teamwork too much.
🔑 關鍵：cannot…too = 再怎麼…也不為過。不要字面理解成「不能太…」！這是經典雙重否定 = 強烈肯定。
⚠️ 進階翻譯陷阱 TOP 3
陷阱 1：倒裝句的助動詞位置
「直到他回來，我才離開。」
❌ Not until he came back I left.（沒倒裝）
✅ Not until he came back did I leave.
規則：Not until 放句首 → 主句倒裝（助動詞拉到主詞前）。如果原句是一般動詞過去式，要用 did + 原形。
陷阱 2：分詞構句的主詞要一致
「走進教室時，一陣香味撲鼻而來。」
❌ Walking into the classroom, a nice smell hit me.（誰在走？a smell 不會走！）
✅ Walking into the classroom, I was hit by a nice smell.
分詞構句的隱形主詞 = 主要子句的主詞。不一致就是 dangling modifier，學測超愛考。
陷阱 3：wish 的時態倒退
「但願我現在在墾丁。」
❌ I wish I am in Kenting now.
✅ I wish I were in Kenting now.
wish 後面永遠後退一個時態：現在→過去式，過去→過去完成式。I wish I were 是固定用法（was 口語可，但考試用 were 最穩）。
